About

From AEK Athens to the academy touchline

Andreas signed with AEK Athens straight out of high school, turning down a place at Columbia University to play in the Greek first division, where he trained alongside Ballon d'Or winner Rivaldo.

After a professional career in Greece and nearly a decade of semi-professional titles in New York, he moved fully into coaching. Today he is U15 Head Coach at New York City FC Academy in the MLS NEXT Homegrown Division. He holds a UEFA B License, is working toward his UEFA A License, and coaches in English, Greek and Spanish.

Off the field, he has over 15 years of business leadership. He founded and leads Chronis Elite Soccer, a player development company of 10+ coaches serving around 2,000 players a year across four New York locations, and previously spent ten years as Chief Operations Officer of a multi-store retailer.
